Experience
Local experiences. Local stories.
The Málaga Wine Tour takes a small group inland to Álora, a white town above the Guadalhorce Valley about 45 minutes from the coast, where the family that runs the tour has farmed for generations.
You start with a guided walk through Álora’s old town — the parish church, the local museum and the Moorish castle that once guarded the valley, all entry fees included. Then it’s out to a family-run vineyard to walk the vines and hear how the wine is made, and into a boutique winery to see fermentation and barrel ageing up close, with your guide translating so you can ask the winemaker anything.
The morning finishes with a tasting of four local wines paired with an Andalusian tapas board — cheese, chorizo, Serrano ham and olives. Round-trip transport from Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena or Fuengirola is included, and the group is never larger than eight.
